WHY WRITERS PAINT
In music, poetry and painting
I have been looking for
Thoughts and stories,
Different kinds of beauty,
Specific and their very own,
Having each of them
One language
Revealing their existence.
Yet what I find is
Less logical, by far:
I can see how music paints
While painters expose sounds
Frozen or moving,
Depending on our fantasy,
As music is dependent
Just as much.
Perhaps
There is just
Our everlasting mystery
This component of being
Known as Art,
Not fully understood,
Always finding home
In new spheres.
Wherever it is taken.
