“THROUGHOUT THE HOURS OF THE NIGHT, THOUGH THERE HAD BEEN FEW TO HEAR IT, THE WHOLE SKY HAD BEEN LOUD WITH THE SINGING OF THESE CONSTELLATIONS.”
― THORNTON WILDER, THE BRIDGE OF SAN LUIS REY
ABOUT
Soul Sauce Literary is an online literary magazine that was born out of an intense desire and curiosity to create a space for questioning, understanding (or at least trying to), screaming at, laughing with and observing philosophical themes through the mediums of Short fiction and Poetry.
Literature is the most intimate way to observe life and its details, and philosophy is the most stimulating way of trying to make sense of our time on this earth. And while literature in general does touch on various aspects of life, Soul Sauce yearns to celebrate works created specifically in that liminal intersection between incessant questioning and the desire to answer them; writings that deliciously dally with both philosophical thought and literary merit. We hope to become a space that revels in both the darkest and the brightest corners of existence with total abandon.
